We need your voice on the board! CPHA is holding a special election to find applicants for the open Rural/Frontier seat. Please consider applying to be a part CPHA's next chapter. 

 

It has never been more critical for CPHA to have Board members that share our vision to become an anti-racist organization.  We need passionate leaders to build an anti-racist public health movement that promotes health equity and racial  justice. Our success will require the engagement of dedicated and courageous leaders who are committed to paradigm transformation and status quo disruption. 

Rural Frontier Seat (3-year Term Commitment)

About the Role:

The Rural/Frontier board member plays an essential role on the board bringing the perspective of the rural areas of Colorado and those who are leading in public health. 

 

Ideal Applicant: 

  • Aligned with and actively pursues CPHA’s Values, Vision and Mission, including the work CPHA is doing to become an anti-racist organization. 

  • Applicant lives and/or works in rural Colorado, lending the lens of rural public health issues and elevating those ideas to the CPHA board so Rural/Frontier residents have representation on the board of directors. 

  • Is a part of the public health sector. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in 75% of CPHA board meetings AND engage in those meetings as a contributing member.

  • Engage with the Board of Directors on special projects. 

  • Represent rural/frontier residents on the board

  • Current active contributing member of the CPHA

  • Actively engaged in the field of public health or recently retired from working in the field of Public Health
